Sweden: Amazing Escape from a Robbery

Not since NOKAS -robbery , the Nordic countries has not experienced such an escape from the police. A helicopter was used to rob a cash storage south of Stockholm, Sweden, this morning. In gangster-like style the robbers also used explosives to penetrate into the storage.

Here you can watch the escape from the storage in helicopter.

Update:

The Norwegian newspaper Verdens Gang was chased from the crime scene when the police feared the helicopter would blow up.

The police says they were seconds from catching the robbers.

"It is strange that the police did not see the robbery", says one witness.

Maybe the robbers are earlier military employees or sportsmen? Up to one billion - 1 000 000 000 Swedish crowner, SEK, could have been stolen from this cash storage. Police also promise great reward for information that helps catching the suspisious.

VG reports that the police are shooting against a bin close to the police helicopter.Sphere: Related Content

"You Are Not Alone"

Michael reminded us in HIStory that we was not alone:

"You Are Not Alone"
Written and composed by R Kelly.

Another day has gone
I'm still all alone
How could this be
You're not here with me
You never said goodbye
Someone tell me why
Did you have to go
And leave my world so cold
Everyday I sit and ask myself
How did love slip away
Something whispers in my ear and says
That you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay

But you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though we're far apart
You're always in my heart
But you are not alone

All alone,
'Why, oh

Just the other night
I thought I heard you cry
Asking me to come
And hold you in my arms
I can hear your prayers
Your burdens I will bear
But first I need your hand
Then forever can begin

Everyday I sit and ask myself
How did love slip away

Something whispers in my ear and says
That you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay

For you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though we're far apart
You're always in my heart
For you are not alone

Whisper three words and I'll come runnin'
And girl you know that I'll be there
I'll be there

You are not alone
For I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay
For you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though we're far apart
You're always in my heart

For you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay

For you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though we're far apart
You're always in my heart

For you are not alone.Sphere: Related Content

Ted Anthony, AP: For Generation X, a really bad day

A record-shattering vinyl album and its moonwalking maestro. A paper poster of a golden-haired beauty in a one-piece swimsuit that was gossamer and clingy in all the right places.

It all seems so quaint now, the fragmented dream memories of a fleeting micro-era that began with words like "bicentennial" and "pet rock" and ended with MTV, Atari and absurdly thin cans of super-hold mousse.

The man-child named Michael Jackson and the luminous girl known as Farrah Fawcett-Majors jumped into our consciousness at a plastic moment in American culture - a time when the celebrity juggernaut we know today was still in diapers. When they departed Thursday, just a few hours and a few miles apart, they left an entire generation -- a very strange generation indeed - without two of its defining figures.

"We don't need another hero? After this week, are we sure?"

TV misses out as gossip website TMZ reports Michael Jackson's death first

Norwegian Dagbladet quoting from Los Angeles Times:

With the death of pop star Michael Jackson, TMZ gave the most potent demonstration yet of its ability to stir the pot of entertainment news. The gossip site once again left TV networks and other traditional media outlets scrambling in its wake, even as they attempted to distance themselves from a source widely regarded as salacious, if not disreputable.

Mayor Rudy Clay stood among the crowd shaking hands and talking to residents about Gary's native son.

"It's a sad day today," Clay said. "There's a lot of love for Michael Jackson in this town. The love has never waned."

Clay said it was too soon to talk about specific memorial plans in the city but said talks will start soon on the issue. He described Jackson as "electric" and said the last time he spoke to him was when the King of Pop returned to Roosevelt High School in 2003.

Jackson also received the key to the city from then-Gary Mayor Scott King.

"Anybody who met Michael and talked to him, they'd come away with knowing they met a humble man who had a lot of love for people," Clay said. "He was the world's greatest entertainer, and I don't bite my tongue (to say that)."

Local residents who worked with Jackson were shocked to hear news of his death.

The family of Neda

Neda has become a martyr for the democratic movement in Iran, and now the family is "forced out of house", according to The Guardian.

A 27-years old woman is now a martyr that is appearently a threat to the 79-revolutionaries in Iran. But what can the government do? Can the Council of Revolution stop the democratic revolution? No, the history teaches us that the statemen and emperors have always feared the masses. Look at the colour-revolutions of Belarussia and Ukraine and look at the French and the Bolshevik revolutions.

Here are pictures of Neda and what is believed to be her grave.
